I joke that as a musician I am 10% talent and 90% hard work. If I make mistakes I didn't practice enough.

It’s no exaggeration to say Steve built the core of our company, at the time Canada’s largest independent polling firm. We needed an integrated database solution that consolidated all survey research data, HR activity, scheduling and seamlessly share that data with payroll, CATI, and statistical analytic software. We turned to Steve and he delivered. The system he built carried our business through 20 years of unrelenting growth and helped us secure a lucrative sale of the company, now part of the world’s largest market research organization.

Steve immensely simplified the maintenance of our old website, which was always difficult to update. He added event listing functionality, better photos, better information, and a more pleasant user experience. He gave us more for less and in a timely manner.

Steve revised our primitive website upon joining our board of directors in 2018. He modernized and made it user friendly. He also overhauled our registration system to an online model that went live in March 2020 . . . just before COVID hit. It would have been a nightmare process under our old paper based system. Steve made great things happen for GAGA. It was a pleasure to be able to capture his talents for our volunteer led organization.
I worked with Steve to implement a booking system for better client request management for our website. Steve met our requirements for rules and regulations in a very short period of time. I truly enjoy working with Steve. He is very professional, knowledgeable and communicates clearly.
The thing about Steve is he's so down to earth and unassuming that you don't realize how much prep work he's done until the job is done and everything went smoothly.

In 2020 the Blackburn Community Association reached out to Steve after our initial website redesign ran into delays lasting over a year and eventually stalled completely.
He took just three months to deliver a new site that simplified administration, posting entries and automating our Volunteer, Membership and Hall Rental management systems.
We continue to benefit from the time, care and leadership Steve put into making a website that perfectly aligns with our needs.
I joke that Steve is the Magic Man because he can figure out how to make things work.
But it's not really a joke.
It's true!
It's not easy wrangling a bunch of theater kids but Steve has a calming presence that settles everyone around him.
And that's a good thing to have on a musical stage.
He's always prepared, well-liked and never wastes time.
